What could be possible?
Sometimes the things that make life meaningful aren't covered by a waiver, funded by a service, or easily accessible. Sometimes there's simply a barrier between a person and something they want to experience. We believe that barrier shouldn't be the end of the story.
Commonwealth Community Connections works to help individuals with disabilities pursue meaningful experiences, opportunities, connections, and dreams in this beautiful community they call home.
Because a life shouldn't be limited to what a funding source will pay for.

Because life is meant to be experienced…
A concert.
A sporting event.
A weekend away.
A new restaurant.
A trip you've always dreamed about.
A class you've always wanted to take.
A hobby you've never had the opportunity to try.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience.
These moments may seem ordinary to some people.
But when access to them is limited by cost, transportation, equipment, support needs, or other barriers, they can feel completely out of reach.
We want to help change that.
OPPORTUNITIES
There is always room to learn, grow, contribute, and try something new.
Maybe someone wants to learn how to garden.
Maybe they want to take an art class.
Maybe they want to start a small business.
Maybe they want to volunteer.
Maybe they want to learn to cook.
Maybe they want to develop a new skill.
Maybe they simply want to try something they've never done before.
We believe opportunity shouldn't have an expiration date—or a disability requirement attached to it.
CONNECTIONS
Community isn't something you visit. It's something you belong to.
Real community happens through relationships.
A friend.
A neighbor.
A coworker.
A coach.
A volunteer opportunity.
A local business.
A place where someone knows your name.
We want to help create opportunities for people with disabilities to build real relationships and real connections within the broader community.
Not a separate version of community.

Resources are limited, and every opportunity has to be considered carefully.
But we don't want a funding rule, agency affiliation, or the absence of a traditional service to be the automatic reason someone stops dreaming.
